Tiger Wrap

(Please click on the photo to enlarge it).

This Tiger Wrap is tunisian crocheted with Sinphonia in orange and black and with Lion Cotton-Ease in charcoal. (I ran out of charcoal and had to finish the rest in black so he's sort of half and half). LOL!

It wraps around your shoulders and ties in the front with the long ends you see on the sides of the wrap.

Here's a closer view. I used a tiger cross stitch chart which only had the tiger's eyes. (I made the cross stitch a while ago and have it framed. It's actually a white tiger. I had a lot of orange yarn so I decided to make the tiger in crochet too).
You could wrap it around your waist too and tie it. But it is rather long and would look best on a full-figured person to show off the tiger's face.

A Human ...Being - Afghan

This afghan is called "A Human...Being". (Please click on the photos to enlarge them).

It is made with Hobby Lobby's "I Love This Yarn" in black and white.
I used a size J cabled afghan hook.
It's 36 inches across and 51 inches long.
So it's more like a lapghan.

I began with this photo I found on the internet, (I don't know where the photo originated from)...

...and used Photobucket's really nice photo editing options to make the picture as you see it on the right.

Then, once I had this made, I took the photo to the microrevolt - knitpro site and uploaded the image to their graph generator making a workable graph to crochet.

I graphed the words at Celticxstitch graph generating site.
